When I am not writing or reading, you may find me rearranging furniture—a disorder inherited from my paternal grandmother.
My current work-in-progress is set in Regency England. I love the simple elegance of this time period.
I invite you to take a look at my blog homepage with entries on various subjects. See the topics on the left.
MORE ABOUT ME
I am a North Carolina farm girl with a B.S. in Finance and have worked in the financial services industry for too many years.
I enjoy making people laugh and introducing them to the freedom that can be found in a relationship with Jesus.
My first book, Finding Riches(not a regency), can be purchased by clicking the book below:
Half of the proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Pregnancy Support Services of Person County.
Oh, and why did I call my blog “Put a Ruffle On It”? I did that in honor of my grandmother, Christine. She never met a pair of shorts or skirt that she didn’t think would be made better by adding a ruffle to the bottom. She tried her hardest to keep her granddaughters in line with her old-fashioned values—values I now write about in my novels.

Hi Anita,
Just wanted to say hi…My blog is Put a Ruffle on It on blogger. What’s hilarious is that I also named my blog after my grandmother. She would always offer to put a ruffle on skirts for us as well. http://putaruffleonit.blogspot.com/2010/01/here-i-am.html

Small world! And I thought I was being original.
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond.
Did your Grandmother also rearrange furniture–a lot? Mine did. And I do that too. Unfortunately, it interferes with my writing.
Nice meeting you.

Hi Anita,
I love your blog title! What fun! I want to honor my grandma through writing somehow, too – maybe by taking part of her name as a pseudonym! You have such a gift for writing, and your voice comes through so clearly! Keep it up!
God bless,
Susie
